CPMC Welcomes Dynamic Duo to their Healthcare Team

Cabinet Peaks Medical Center is thrilled to announce the arrival of two exceptional healthcare professionals, Scott and Carrie Wardian, who bring a wealth of expertise, dedication, and a strong commitment to community to their roles.

Carrie Wardian: Empowering Pediatric Physical Therapist
Carrie Wardian, a Board Certified Pediatric Physical Therapist, is set to make a significant impact on the well-being of children in the Libby community. With a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the Idaho State University and a rich history of clinical excellence, Carrie’s passion lies in empowering parents to help their children become strong, independent individuals. Her mission is to teach children motor skills, build strength, and foster confidence, all while working collaboratively with families to ensure the best possible outcomes.

A native of Post Falls, Idaho, Carrie’s journey has brought her back to Montana, where she completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Montana. She continued her education at Idaho State University in Pocatello, ID, before spending 15 years in Spokane at a Birth to Three Developmental Therapy Center. There she worked closely with speech, occupational, and special education therapists to provide comprehensive care to children and their families. Her dedication extended beyond clinical work as she also taught pediatric physical therapy curriculum for the Eastern Washington Doctorate of Physical Therapy program and the Spokane Falls Community College Physical Therapy Assistant Program.

Reflecting on her move to Libby, Carrie shared, "Scott and I both grew up in a small town and missed the sense of community. We fell in love with Montana when we went to undergraduate school here and have been wanting to get back ever since. We have been visiting northwest Montana for 20 years and have owned property in Troy for 5 years. We love the mountains, trees, and the pace of life in the small towns of Libby and Troy."

Scott Wardian: Athletic Trainer

Scott Wardian brings over 15 years of experience as an Athletic Trainer, certified by both the National Athletic Trainers' Association and the Montana Athletic Trainers' Association. Originally from Post Falls, ID, he spent the last 15 years of experience in caring for athletes, particularly in secondary school settings, and brings an unparalleled level of expertise and dedication to his role.

A proud member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association and Montana Athletic Trainers' Association, Scott's reputation in the athletic training field is well-established. His extensive background, honed skills, and commitment to the well-being of athletes align perfectly with Cabinet Peaks Medical Center's mission to provide top-tier healthcare services to the Libby community and beyond.
In his new role, Scott will be actively engaged with local athletic programs, volunteering his time and skills to support student athletes during practices and sporting events. Cabinet Peaks Medical Center is confident that Scott's presence will not only enhance the level of care available to local athletes but also contribute positively to the overall health and well-being of the community. While not helping student athletes, Scott will be working closely with Cabinet Peaks Clincs Orthopedics and Dr. Julienne Lippe.

Scott's love for the outdoors and passion for helping others made Libby the perfect fit. "My wife and I both work for Cabinet Peaks Medical Center and are excited and proud to be able to contribute our expertise to the Libby area," he emphasized. Scott will be volunteering at Libby High School practices and sporting events, enhancing the level of care available to local athletes and the community.
Cabinet Peaks Medical Center Rehab Services Manager, Tyler Hanley, expressed his excitement about the Wardians' arrival, stating, "We are thrilled to welcome Scott and Carrie Wardian to our team. Their extensive experience, commitment to care, and passion for community align seamlessly with our mission to provide exceptional healthcare services. We are confident that their presence will have a positive and lasting impact on the well-being of our community."

Together, the Wardians share a deep appreciation for the mountains, trees, and small-town charm that the Libby area offers. When not engaged in their professional roles, they enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking and running, as well as spending time with their two cats and engaging in DIY crafts/projects.

Cabinet Peaks Medical Center eagerly anticipates the contributions that the Wardians will bring to the Libby area. For more information, please contact Rehabiltative Services at 406-283-7280.
